Bridal Jewellery Set Collection for Your Wedding
Almost every bride who walks into our Laxmi Road store starts with the same worry. Which bridal jewellery set will look right with my saree, and will it still feel comfortable after six hours of rituals? It is a fair worry. A Maharashtrian wedding is not one event. There is the sakharpuda, the haldi, the muhurta, the reception, and a few months later the Mangalagaur. This page brings our bridal range together so you can compare chokar, kundan, temple and rajwadi styles in one place and plan the full look calmly.
Choosing a Bridal Jewellery Set for Each Function
I always tell brides to plan function by function, not piece by piece. Buy for the biggest day first, then fill the gaps around it.
The Wedding Muhurta
This is where the heavy pieces belong. With a nauvari or a Paithani, most brides go for a layered look: a close chokar, a longer haar, thushi, a nath and matching earrings. Temple and rajwadi designs sit very well against the rich zari border of a Paithani. If you are wearing a green or yellow saree, antique gold tones usually look warmer than bright polish.
Sakharpuda and Reception
The engagement and reception are usually in the evening, often with a lehenga or a silk saree in a lighter shade. Here kundan and stone-work pieces catch the stage lights nicely. Keep this look a little lighter than the wedding day so the two sets of photos feel different.
Haldi, Mehendi and Smaller Functions
For haldi you will get turmeric on everything, so please do not wear your best set. A simple pearl or floral piece is enough. Save the good jewellery for later in the day.
Styles in Our Bridal Collection
Chokar Sets
A chokar sits close on the neck and frames the face, especially with a deep blouse neckline. Our chokar sets go from slim single-line designs to broad pieces with hanging pearls.
Kundan Sets
Kundan has that royal North Indian feel, and many Pune brides now choose it for the sangeet and reception. Have a look at our kundan sets for necklace and earring pairs.
Temple Sets
Temple jewellery carries goddess, peacock and coin motifs in an antique gold finish. It suits a Kanjeevaram or Paithani very well. Browse the temple sets if you want that South Indian touch.
Rajwadi Sets
Rajwadi designs are bold and heavy, with a deep antique polish. For the traditional Peshwai look at the muhurta, start with our rajwadi sets.
Why Brides Pick Artificial Bridal Jewellery Sets
Real gold for every function is simply not practical for most families. Artificial bridal jewellery sets let you wear a different look at each function without locking a big amount of money into pieces you may wear twice. Many brides keep their real family gold for the muhurta and use imitation pieces for everything else. Some wear imitation for the whole wedding, and nobody in the photos can tell.
The Honest Trade-Off
These are imitation pieces, not real gold, and we will never tell you otherwise. The plating stays good for a long time if you look after it. It will not behave like real gold if it is left damp in a cupboard or sprayed with perfume every day.
What a Bridal Set Usually Includes
Most of our sets come with a necklace and matching earrings, and some include a maang tikka. Pieces like the nath, bangles and waki are usually bought separately, so you can match them to each outfit.
Buying Bridal Collection Jewellery Online or in Store
You can shop our bridal collection jewellery online from anywhere in India. Each product has clear photos and its price on the page, so if you have been hunting for artificial bridal jewellery sets with price shown upfront, you can compare without calling anyone. Prepaid orders above ₹1,499 ship free, payments are secure, and exchanges or returns follow our Exchange/Return Policy page.
If you are in Pune, come and try pieces on at any of our four stores: Laxmi Road, Aundh, Erandwane near Nal Stop, and Chinchwad. Bring your saree, or at least a photo of it. A bride's mother came in last month with just a small swatch of the blouse fabric, and that one piece of cloth made choosing the stone colour very easy.
Caring for Your Set After the Wedding
Wipe each piece with a soft dry cloth after you take it off. Store it in its box or a zip pouch, away from other jewellery. Keep perfume, hairspray and water away from the plating, and your set will be ready again for Mangalagaur.
